This circuit begins with a panoramic route through the High Atlas mountains and Berber villages. You'll cross the Tizi n'Tichka, the highest road in Morocco (2260m), which leads to Ouarzazate and the South-East region. Your first stop will be the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, located on the heights of the Ounila valley, offering spectacular views of the ochre villages, abandoned kasbahs, orchards, and Ksours. Lunch will be served at the Kasbah before continuing to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert and the movie city, where you'll visit the museum and film studio. From there, you'll head to the Dades Gorges through the rose city of Kelaat-Megouna and the Rose Valley, where you'll spend the night.
After breakfast, you'll head to Merzouga, passing through the Todra Gorges, the starting point for hikes to the highest mountains of the High Atlas. You'll visit the site and continue to Merzouga through several nomadic Berber villages. Once you arrive in Merzouga, you'll embark on a camelback ride through the breathtaking dunes of Erg Chebbi, and enjoy the sunset before returning to the bivouac where you'll spend the night under the stars.
You'll wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before returning to the camp for breakfast. Your driver will then take you to discover the town of Rissani (the Alaouite royal family) and visit the souk lined with palm trees and ancient kasbahs. You'll also pass through the village of Alnif before arriving in Ouarzazate for lunch. After lunch, you'll begin the journey back to Marrakech, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260m) and the High Atlas mountains.
