From the Tichka Pass to the Palm Groves of Zagora, We invite you to discover the wonders of the Grand South of Morocco, from the Kasbah of Glaoui to the first dunes of the Sahara. You’ll cross fantastic landscapes, including the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, the Rose Valley, the M’Goun and Dadès Gorges, the Djebel Sahro massif, and finally the Drâa valley, its kasbahs, and palm groves.
Tour Plan
Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate in 4X4, passing through the Tichka Pass (2260m). Visit to the Kasbah of the Pasha Glaoui and the Ounila valley. Continue to the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and then Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Drive to the Rose Valley via the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs. Discover the beautiful villages of Keelaa Mgouna, capital of the rose. Walk in the Rose Valley and visit the Dadès Gorges. Dinner and overnight stay at our accommodation in the Dadès Gorges.
Drive to the Saghro massif, passing through the Tazazert Pass (2200m). Discover other types of landscapes: volcanic rocks in the shape of chimneys and valleys dotted with almond trees. Continue to the oasis of Nkob and the splendid Drâa valley. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in Zagora.
Discover the town of Tamgroute and its Koranic library. Cross the Bani chain and arrive at the oasis of Oum Laalag. Arrival at the foot of the great dunes of Chegaga, where we'll spend the night in nomadic tents.
Continue north to join the Anti-Atlas at Foum Zguit. Cross the slopes of Bani and the large dried-up lake of Iriki. Arrival at our auberge or guesthouse at the foot of Siroua.
Visit Taliouine, the capital of saffron. Descend to the large plain of Souss. Cross the High Atlas via the Test Pass (2100m) and the beautiful Nfiss valley. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon and overnight stay in a Riad.
Transfer to the airport and return flight.
