This trek will allow you to discover the wonders of the High Atlas mountains, its unique landscapes and rich cultures. You will have an unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful places in Morocco.
Departure from Marrakech by vehicle to Imlil, the starting point of your hike. Meeting with our team, guide and muleteers. You will begin your first day of walking, a steady climb that will take you through the village of Armed and the Marabout Sidi Chamharouch, a pilgrimage site for Moroccans. A tea break will be welcome. Then, you will continue your walk south to the Toubkal refuge. Lunch, installation of your luggage and overnight stay at the Toubkal Refuge. 4 to 5 hours of walking.
Very early in the morning, you will start climbing to the summit of Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa (4167m). A grand panorama will unfold before you, with views of the southern part where the Siroua massif is located, the only massif in Morocco with saffron cultivation. You will also see the M'goun to the west, the Haouz plain and all the surrounding peaks. After conquering the summit, descent to Imlil. 9 to 10 hours of walking depending on the group's pace. Then, transfer back to Marrakech.
