Culinary Experience at the Heart of the Medina
Immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of Marrakech evenings through a gourmet walk at the heart of the medina. As night falls, Marrakech comes alive differently: the alleys light up, the smells of grilled food and spices waft through the air, and the street food stalls come to life around Jemaa el-Fna.
Accompanied by a passionate local guide, discover typical dishes enjoyed by locals in the evening. This tour opens the doors to hidden addresses, small counters frequented by residents, far from tourist routes.
Gourmet Itinerary:
Meet your guide at the heart of the famous square. Presentation of the history of street food in Marrakech, observation of the setup of stalls, and first aromas.
Walk through the alleys of the medina, where you will taste:
– Harira: comforting soup with chickpeas, lentils, tomatoes, and coriander
– Loubia: white beans simmered in a spicy tomato sauce
– Aromatic olives: seasoned with lemon, garlic, or harissa
– Traditional bread just out of the community oven
– Kefta skewers (spicy minced meat)
– Grilled lamb liver, served with cumin and salt
– Tangia Marrakchia: specialty of slowly cooked meat in clay jars buried under the embers of hammams

– Babbouche (Moroccan snails in spicy broth)
– Tehan (stuffed spleen) for a more local experience
– Sfenj: crispy traditional doughnuts
– Stuffed Msemmen: pancakes with meat or onions
