Your transfer to the hotel offers the perfect opportunity to catch your first glimpses of this captivating destination as you wind your way through bustling streets and colorful markets. Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260m altitude. Then stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where you visit the old village (classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Continue to Ouarzazate, visit the Taourirte Kasbah and the Ouarzazate film studios in Hollywood, Africa, then continue to the Skoura palm grove, passing by the Kasbah Armidil, a wonderful place offering a magical view of the Atlas Mountains, where you will explore beautiful architecture. After this visit, we head to the highest rose valley, Kalaa M’gouna, where women display rose products in shops and cooperatives along the road, and arrive at Boulmen Dades. Visit the Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Dades.
After breakfast, depart for the visit of the Todra Gorges, where you will have the opportunity to take beautiful photos, then continue to Erfoud, passing through the palm grove of Tinjdad and discovering traditional local irrigation systems. We continue the road to Erfoud, the world center of fossils and also known for its most delicious and organic dates. Arrival in Merzouga, where you will spend the night in a nomad tent camp with the sound of drums in the middle of the Sahara, and enjoy an excellent dinner under the stars with the sweetness of local music rhythms.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go all around the dunes, first starting with the village of Khamlia, home to people originating from Mali, who will treat us to a beautiful Gnawa music concert and share a delicious tea with us. Then we continue to the M’fiss mines, a desert plateau, to meet Berber nomads, Tissardmine Oasis. Then return to Bivouac and meet with the camel team, who will take you on an adventure through the sand dunes on camelback to witness the sunset. This is a great opportunity to take beautiful photos of the sunset from the top of the dunes. Return to the camp. excellent and magical evening with entertainment.
Say goodbye to the Sahara after breakfast and ride a camel back to Merzouga. You will cross desert landscapes, then serious mountains crossing the High Atlas. Arrival in Marrakech by the end of the day. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
