As you leave the city, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of traditional Berber villages as you make stops at various panoramic sights for pictures. Lunchtime takes you to the charming Ait Ben Haddou village, where you'll visit the ancient and illustrious Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The fortified village has been safeguarded by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 1987 and is a location where many famous movies, such as Lawrence of Arabia, Babel, and Gladiator, have been filmed. Afterward, you'll drive to Ouarzazate and pause to see the largest studio in Africa. You have the option to take a tour inside. Then continue on to Boumalne, passing through the Valley of Roses. You can choose to visit the stunning rock formations, known as "monkey fingers," in Dades Valley before heading to your accommodation or visit them the next day. Indulge in a delicious breakfast, and then we'll set off to Tinghir, where we'll pause at a magnificent viewpoint to take in the incredible oasis brimming with palm trees and numerous kasbahs. You'll have the opportunity to stroll beneath the towering Canyon of Todgha, carved out by the Todgha River. The gorge plummets to a depth of 300 meters. Upon arrival in Merzouga, your luggage will be transported to your campsite by a 4x4 vehicle, while you embark on a camel trek. Witness the spectacularly fiery red and orange hues of the sunset over the Erg Chebbi. Spend an unforgettable evening in the Sahara desert with the locals, playing drums, swapping stories, and gazing at the starry sky. Total driving distance: Around 275 km. You'll start your day early and witness a breathtaking sunrise before enjoying a delicious breakfast at the camp. Following that, you can choose to depart from the campsite either by camel trekking or a 4x4 vehicle. Your journey to Fez will take you through some stunning sights, including a stop at the panoramic view of Ziz Valley, which is filled with palm trees and quaint villages. You'll also have the opportunity to spot Barbary Apes, one of the few species that can survive in cold climates, in the Cedar forest of the Middle Atlas. Take a break in Ifrane city, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco, for a cup of coffee. The tour will come to an end at your accommodation in Fez in the late evening, after covering a total driving distance of around 500 km and spending approximately seven and a half hours on the road.
