OVERVIEW:

Exploring the highest mountain in North Africa for 4 days Mount Toubkal peak (4167 m), see great views of the Atlas Mountains, Moroccan, green valley, and Berber villages, meet with our team, local guide, and muleteers, and go to experience this adventure in your lifetime. Toubkal Ascent (4167 m) is the highest peak in Morocco and a trek peak. Two days involve walking with crampons and an ice axe for security in the winter (October to May). The way has been designed for keen hikers, as the ascent is non-technical but involves some easy scrambling and snow slopes. All views from the top are wonderful: across the mountains to Marrakech to the north and the start of the Sahara desert to the south. All around are the jagged summits of the High Atlas, stretching as far as you can see in all directions.

Arrival at the village of Imlil (65 km south of Marrakech), meeting with our teams, then departure for the hike and the ascent of the Tizi Mzik pass (2684 m), spectacular view of the Imlil valley and the summit of Toubkal. Then departure to Azib Tamsoulte, night at Refuge Azib Tamsoult, 5 to 6 hours of walking.
