ITINERARY:

Welcome assistance and transfer to the hotel for accommodation.

After breakfast, depart for Tetouan in the Rif Mountains, a city known by the nickname "the white dove.". Tetouan's Medina is the old Islamic city in Morocco. It is very characteristic and traditional. The houses in Medina are almost all white and low. Throughout the medina, there are artisans such as weavers, jewelers, furriers, etc. Tetouan was of great importance in the Islamic period, as it served as a major point of contact between Morocco and Andalusia. After the Reconquest, the city was rebuilt by Muslim refugees from Andalusia who had been expelled by the decree of Philip III of Spain. This can be well seen in its architecture, which reveals the Andalusian influence. Although it is one of the smallest medinas in Morocco, Tetouan is the most complete and practically untouched by external influences. After the visit, lunch and a continuation to Chefchaouen. Dinner and an overnight stay at the Riad.

After breakfast, free time is available to visit Chefchaouen, a city founded in 1471 on the site of a small Berber population. Its original population was mainly composed of exiles from al-Andalus, Muslims, and Jews, which is why the old part of the city looks very similar to Andalusian villages with small irregular layout streets and whitewashed houses (often with blue tones). The oldest part of the city develops towards the top of the mountain, and at the highest point are the springs of Ras al-Ma. The city center is the Uta al-Hammam square, where the fortress and a mosque with an octagonal tower are located. Another landmark in the city is the Mosque of the Andalusians. The new city was built below the old town. After the visit, we continue to Oued Laou, a village named after the eponymous river that originates in the Rif Mountains. From there, we will join a coastal road that we will follow to Al Hoceima National Park for a visit and lunch. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Al Hoceima and stay at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a visit to the city of Al Hoceima before continuing along the Mediterranean coast to Nador, the capital of the province, located about 15 kilometers south of the Spanish city of Melilla. Nador is located on the shores of the sea and is the only lagoon on the Moroccan Mediterranean coast. Lunch in Nador, and then continuing along the Mediterranean coast, we will arrive in Saidia, known as the "Blue Pearl," a municipality and a small town located in the extreme north of the country, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Its population has a maritime tradition, and it has one of the longest beaches in Morocco, with fine golden sand, and enjoys a Mediterranean climate. It is an established seaside resort and has become, in recent years, an international tourist destination by hosting one of the largest resorts in North Africa. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will spend the first part of the day on the beach of Saidia before continuing towards Oujda, a city in northeastern Morocco with an estimated population of half a million inhabitants. Located about fifteen kilometers west of the border with Algeria and about 60 kilometers south of the Mediterranean Sea, it is the capital of the Moroccan Oriental region and the birthplace of the current Algerian president, Abdelaziz Bouteflika. Lunch in Oujda, then continue to Taza and then to Oued Imlil, where our hotel is located at the entrance of the Tazzka National Park, a natural wonder between the Rif Mountains and the Middle Atlas that we will discover along the way tomorrow. It is advisable to wear good walking shoes. Accommodation is at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, and the whole morning devoted to visiting Tazzka National Park, an original territory where two parts are distinguished by the exceptional beauty of its landscapes and biodiversity: the relief of the western part consists of steep slopes, sharp ridges, and narrow and deep valleys; in this much smoother and presenting many caves and sinkholes due to the great activities of karstic phenomena. You can observe the varied characteristic landscapes and the Tazzeka massif. The summit of Jebel Tazzeka, with its natural cedar forest, offers a remarkable viewpoint over the entire region of the Middle Atlas mountains. It is humid and wooded, unlike the bare Rif massif. In the afternoon, departure to Fez, arrival, and check-in at the Riad.

Day dedicated to discovering Fes, the intellectual and artisanal capital of Morocco and probably the oldest of the imperial cities of Morocco. Fes is the pearl of the Arab world, the place of great sensations. Here, like in Florence or Athens, the traveler comes for the treasure of a civilization, the inexhaustible riches of a generous and varied life to profusion, where reigns the sun, sensuality, colors, and flavors. Fes, surely, is everything you love. Here, no one knows where the pleasure of the mind ends and where the pleasure of the senses begins. With the refinement of its palaces and the sensuality of its life, Fes, a unique city, invites you to take several journeys. In the afternoon, we continue to Meknes and, on the way, stop at the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis. Overnight at a riad in Meknes.

Breakfast at the riad and departure to visit Meknes, a city in northern Morocco located at the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Meknes is in the middle of a green valley in the north. Meknes is the capital of the Meknes-Tafilalet region, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. We visit the royal stables and the Jewish quarter, the Lhdim square, and the monumental gate of Bab el Mansour. Then we will continue towards Asilah, passing through Kenitra and Larache. Accommodation in a Riad in Asilah.

Breakfast at the riad, free time until the indicated time, and transfer to Tangier airport. On the way, we will visit the Hercules Cave. Then end of our services.
